Striving to bring peace to a meaningful moment.

Our team understands that this may be one of the most difficult decisions you’ll ever have to make. Rest assured that most pet owners struggle with this decision, and it’s not one you’ll have to make alone.

Euthanasia

At Kenai Veterinary Hospital, we understand just how strong the human-animal bond can be. You brought your pet into your home, and they became part of your family. Saying goodbye to a pet is often the most difficult decision owners will ever have to make, but it is also sometimes one of the kindest things you can do for your pet.

If you believe it may be time to say goodbye to your beloved pet, we are here to help you. Our goal is to honor your family member and make this transition as peaceful and comfortable as possible.

If you would like more information about this process, The American Veterinary Medical Association has excellent information concerning this difficult but important aspect of pet ownership. We are also always here to help you make the right decision for your pet. Please do not hesitate to give us a call.

Cremation

Kenai Veterinary Hospital is fortunate enough to have an in-house crematory, so you know that your pet will remain in good hands even after you say goodbye. Our cremation process is respectful and private for each pet. Since we only do individual cremations, you can be assured that you will receive only your pet’s remains. We will also make a paw print when practical to help you remember your pet. If you have any questions about our cremation process, please reach out to us.
